Pretty Great Experience

Stayed with the Tucan Amazon Lodge for three days and two nights, and it was great! You start with a ninety minute drive from Manaus, then a forty-five minute boat ride provided by the Lodge. In addition to the room, all meals are provided, wildlife viewing and some activities are included. There is no "hot" water, but private bathrooms with showers are standard. Because of the location there are few bugs and we encountered no mosquitos at the Lodge.. We had an especially good time with guides Eduardo and Julio who are very knowledgeable.

I had a fantastic time at Tucan lodge. Everything was incredible, the food, the activities, the staff. everything was amazing. I went solo and my guide for 4 days was Yamal. And he made it so good. Really great guy, very knowledgeable, and friendly. Tucan lodge was a top notch experience. I did one in the Peru amazon a few years back but this one was way better. Thank you Tucan lodge for such a incredible experience in Brasil amazoñas! And once again huge shout out to my guide, Yamal! Will recommend to anyone who’s curious on a jungle experience of a lifetime!

I had an amazing 4 days at the Tucan lodge. They picked me up in the morning from my hotel in Manaus and we first went to see the meeting of the waters, and then by boat to the lodge. I had Pepe as my guide, who is really fantastic! He really loves his job and wants to show you everything that is interesting. He is always excited and makes a wonderful atmosphere. He took me piranha fishing, boating, Cayman watching, swimming with the pink dolphins, excursion to Anaviliana islands, indigenous village, Indian village, several sunsets and sunrises, bird watching, and of course the jungle walk. I experienced so much and was never bored, thanks Pepe! The lodge itself is beautiful, nice wooden structures, ac in the room, internet available on beautiful balcony. Monkeys wake you in the morning, and there is a cute parrot. The food was excellent, mostly very good quality and tasty local fish. Bottled water was available, and there were not too many mosquitoes (but a few bites are inevitable). My highest expectations were surpassed, I highly recommend this lodge.

Beautiful lodge; the kitchen staff, the guides and the boat driver all work very hard and do an amazing job to make your stay an unforgettable experience. The beds are super comfortable, the food is excellent (I am vegan, and they made an extra effort to accommodate me); and the trips into the jungle and their other activities are very rewarding. Highly recommended!
